Medicaid Patients: Beware!

WNH wants to make you aware of a scam occurring in our area. Patients have reported receiving phone calls claiming William Newton Hospital is no longer in-network with Medicaid. THIS IS FALSE!
WNH is contracted and in-network with traditional Kansas Medicaid and all KanCare insurance providers (Sunflower, United, and Aetna). In addition, neither Medicaid nor Medicare would call you to ask for your insurance information.
Never give your insurance card, policy number, Social Security card, or Social Security number to anyone except your doctor or people you know should have it.
