About Huxley's Halo of Hope

The WNH Auxiliary is proud to split profits from this event 50/50 with local non-profit, Huxley's Halo of Hope. Inspired by a profound personal loss, William Newton Hospital employees Christian and Tehillah Smith launched Huxley's Halo of Hope in 2025.
Huxley's Halo of Hope was created in tribute to the Smiths' baby, Huxley, whom they lost during delivery in July 2024. The initiative's mission is to provide light, comfort, and remembrance to mothers, fathers, and families who have lost a baby.
The program provides grieving parents with a weighted bear that symbolizes the weight of their baby. The bear, along with a personalized gift basket designed to support different stages of pregnancy loss, is a one-time gift from the community designed to offer a tangible keepsake and emotional support during a devastating time.
