Public Invited to Meet New Provider in Moline

William Newton Hospital invites the community to a special come-and-go reception to welcome its newest healthcare provider, Edward "Ed" Duensing, APRN, to the Moline Community Rural Health Clinic.

The event details are as follows:

  • Who: Ed Duensing, APRN
  • What: Meet & Greet Reception
  • When: Wednesday, November 5
  • What time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (come-and-go)
  • Where: Moline Public Library, 107 Main Street
  • Details: The public is invited to meet Ed Duensing, with refreshments served.

About Ed Duensing, APRN

Duensing is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with over 35 years of medical experience. A resident of Neodesha, Kansas, he is now serving patients of all ages at the Moline clinic and the William Newton Fast Track.

He brings a wide range of expertise to his role. Duensing’s extensive background in various roles includes owning Advanced Practice Primary Care Services, LLC, and providing care at various primary, walk-in, and urgent care clinics. He has also served veterans at the Parsons VA Clinic, worked as a hospitalist, and held positions as an on-call emergency department provider.

As a primary care provider, Duensing is dedicated to managing a wide range of health needs.

He is focused on preventative care, stating:

"I want to focus on keeping individuals healthy, versus being reactive - waiting until you are sick."
