A Growing Family: William Newton Hospital Welcomes First Baby of 2026

William Newton Hospital is proud to announce the arrival of the first baby of the new year. Willow Sage Admire was born on January 8, 2026, at 8:22 a.m., weighing six pounds four ounces and measuring 19 inches long.

Willow was delivered by OB/GYN Kayla Arthur, DO. She is the daughter of Jessica Phillips and Austin Admire of Winfield. The newborn joins a bustling household with big sisters Blakely and Harley, age 4. Reflecting on the birth, Austin shared his appreciation for the hospital staff.

"We had a really good experience here," he noted. "The nurses were especially personable, and Angie was really helpful."

Jessica expressed her joy in expanding their family.

"I'm so excited to welcome my third girl into our family," she said.

The William Newton Family Birthing Center features seven private rooms and two birthing suites designed to provide a comfortable environment for new families. In 2025, the hospital continued its long-standing tradition of care, welcoming 228 newborns to its nursery.

Willow Sage Admire, the first baby of 2026 at William Newton Hospital, weighed six pounds four ounces and was 19 inches long at birth. She was delivered by Dr. Kayla Arthur on the morning of January 8.
